Leeds Three-Year Base Rate Tracker mortgage launched

A new Leeds Three-Year Base Rate Tracker mortgage has been announced today, which will track the Bank of England rate – currently 4.5 per cent – until July 31st 2009.

The offer allows unlimited capital repayments without penalty and does not carry a higher lending charge.

Available at up to 80 per cent loan-to-value, the product is also fully portable should customers wish to move during the opening three-year period.

Applications will be processed immediately and Leeds offers an online facility allowing borrowers to gain instant updates on their mortgage at any time.

"The functionality, combined with an extremely competitive product, offers customers a superb combination of excellent value and outstanding service and we expect this product to be extremely popular," said Stuart Fearn, product development manager at Leeds.

The Leeds Three-Year Base Rate Tracker mortgage is available exclusively online and has a completion fee of one per cent of the loan amount.
