Leeds Three-Year Fee-Free Tracker mortgage altered

The Leeds Three-Year Fee-Free Tracker mortgage has been extended, the company announced today, making it available until July 31st 2009.

A rate of 4.94 per cent per cent is available on the offer for loans up to 90 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) and free valuation is offered up to £335.

Customers interested in taking up an offer at 95 per cent LTV will be offered a rate that tracks at 1.04 per cent above the Bank of England base rate – making the current rate 5.54 per cent.

There are no higher lending charges or completion fees on the Leeds Three-Year Fee-Free Tracker mortgage, although there are tapered early repayment charges of four, three and two per cent of the amount redeemed.

Stuart Fearn, product development manager at Leeds, said: "These products will prove attractive to both first-time buyers and remortgage customers who are looking to benefit from a mortgage without any setup costs."

Customers interested in remortgaging with the Leeds Three-Year Fee-Free Tracker mortgage will be able to use the lender's free in-house legal services.

More information on the mortgage options offered by Leeds can be found by logging on to the building society's website.
