Friends Provident Investment Portfolio Bond offer extended

The special offers on the Friends Provident Investment Portfolio Bond (IPB), Income Distribution Bond (IDB) and Friends Isa options have been extended to December 5th, the company has announced today.

An increase of 0.5 per cent on the allocation rate on the Friends Isa has been extended, as well as extra allocations on the IPB and IDB offers.

Investments between £20,000 and £99,999 for investors aged between 19 and 70 will receive an extra allocation of 0.25 per cent in the Income Distribution Bond.

The Friends Provident Investment Portfolio Bond will offer an extra allocation of 0.25 per cent for every investment received between £20,000 and £99,999.

"Friends Provident wants to actively encourage customers to save in a way that makes the best use of tax allowance and provides the best return on their investment," said Christine Foyster, head of investment marketing at Friends Provident.

"Extending our special offer provides consumers with added value for money and will hopefully provide an extra incentive to those that need it to save for the future."

The value of the Friends Provident Investment Portfolio Bond, IDB package and Friends Isa option is not guaranteed and can fluctuate, the company warns, and there is no guarantee that investors will receive a return higher than the amount they initially paid in.
