Bright Grey pension term assurance plan has been launched today

The Bright Grey pension term assurance plan has been launched today. The protection specialist arm of the Royal London Group is offering a life assurance cover that allows premiums to be paid net of tax relief.

The new plan can be used in conjunction with any of the other covers provided by Bright Grey's menu protection plan and provides individual life cover for a term between one and 40 years.

The new pension term assurance plan is the second product launched by Bright Grey since it started business in March 2003.

Roger Edwards, Bright Grey's product director commented said the pension term assurance plan is important for development and explained it is designed to be flexible.

Mr Edwards also discussed the potential in pension term assurance for advisors, saying: "It presents a really valid reason to talk about life cover, 45 per cent of UK adults don't have any life cover and it will be a missed opportunity if the opening up of the PTA market isn't grasped by advisers with both hands."

The Royal London Group has seen considerable expansion of its enterprises over recent years and new products such as Bright Grey pension term assurance are expected to continue the trend.
