More Than hybrid car insurance discount was launched recently after a survey suggested that seven out of ten Brits would consider switching to an hybrid car if they were cheaper to run than normal cars.
Insuresupermarket.com is designed to give consumers an idea of how various car insurance premiums vary and how they may be able to get themselves a better deal on their car insurance.
Director of insuresupermarket.com, Richard Mason said: "It's a great move from a big insurer to encourage people to be more environmentally conscious. However, if you do have a hybrid car or are thinking of purchasing one, there are other insurers who offer cheaper premiums."
More Than hybrid car insurance discount comes as a number of major car manufacturers are developing new hybrid vehicles, among the most popular on the market currently are Honda's Civic and Accord models, as well as the Toyota Prius.
