Britannia Building Society 150th Anniversary Lifetime Tracker Mortgages launched

Two new Britannia Building Society 150th Anniversary Lifetime Trackers Mortgages have been launched today to celebrate the milestone.

The first new offer has a base rate of +0.35 per cent on remortgages for the life of the mortgage, with an arrangement fee of £99.

The second product is a new lifetime tracker which is available for first-time buyers, movers and customers remortgaging to Britannia for which the base rate is plus 0.25 per cent for the life of the mortgage with an arrangement fee of £399 and £100 administration costs.

Senior marketing manager Mike Sims said: "One hundred and fifty years is a significant milestone for Britannia Building Society, especially given the competitive marketplace we operate in today. These products are a great opportunity for our members to join in our celebrations."

The launch of the Britannia Building Society 150th Anniversary Lifetime Trackers are part of a year of celebrations for the company as there will also be a summer party at Uttoxeter Racecourse and £150,000 is to be donated to various good causes.
