Moneyfacts is an independent finance guide and the Alliance & Leicester Current Account was declared the best provider of credit and debit interest.
The double prize was awarded for innovation in current accounts and providing good rates for customers.
Helen Palmer, current account manager at Alliance & Leicester, said: "We are delighted to receive these two awards, it's great to be recognised for both our credit and debit interest."
Allience & Leicester Current Account deals can be found online and among them is one offering free travel insurance.
According to its website, moneyfacts are the largest personal finance publisher in the UK and do no receive commission from companies assessed.
