Barclaycard Credit Card hits back after criticism

A uSwich.com survey published recently suggested customer were not satisfied with the service provided by their Barclaycard Credit Card, but the company has spoken out in response.

Credit card providers were rated form best to worst by uSwitch.com and Barclaycard was rated as the worst of all.

An overall satisfaction level of 46 per cent was recorded for Barclaycard after users of its credit card were asked whether they would recommend the service to friend.

But a spokesman for the credit card provider has hit out, claiming its own research presented a different picture of customer satisfaction rates.

"Nearly half of Barclaycard customers have been with Barclaycard for over ten years and Barclaycard's own research has shown that 94 per cent of customers would describe themselves as completely, very or fairly satisfied," claimed a Barclaycard spokesman.

A range of credit cards are available from Barclaycard including flexi-rate, graduate and charity products.
