People leaving university this year can get financial help through the Royal Bank of Scotland Graduate Royalties Account.

The account's benefits include an interest free overdraft of up to £2,000 or alternatively an interest free loan up to the same amount.

Designed to give financial help for the first three years after graduation on taking out an account with the Royal Bank of Scotland customers have access to 643 branches around the country.

A 24 hour digital and telephone banking service is also available.

Paul Jeffrey, head of graduate banking at Royal Bank of Scotland, explains: "Our Graduate Royalties account has really useable benefits and graduates can start reaping the discounts on offer as soon as their account is open."

The Royal Bank of Scotland is the world's fifth largest bank and the second largest in Europe.
