Scottish Equitable Group Sipp launched

After the success of a similar product, the individual sipp, Scottish Equitable hope that the simplicity and choice provided by the group sipp will appeal to advisors.
Launched under the company's simple choice banner, the latest product becomes available on July 24th 2006.
Customers will have access to 997 funds and 43 fund managers as well as an online valuation facility.
Alison Nelson, head of group marketing, said: "By keeping the product design simple yet flexible and comprehensive, and with self investment only paid for when used, we hope advisers and their clients will find the Group Sipp as easy to set up as a group pension plan."
Early this year, Scottish Equitable was crowned pension provider of the year at the Financial Adviser Life and Pensions Awards.
