Leeds Building Society Euro Mortgage deal extended

With more Brits than ever looking to move abroad, the Leeds Building Society Euro Mortgage deal has been extended to meet demand.

A recent survey revealed that Spain is one of the most popular destinations and in total, 13 per cent of people said they had considered leaving the UK to live elsewhere.

The product is the first of its kind released by the building society and its popularity has led to it being made available for properties on the Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, Canary and Balearic Islands.

Sally Butcher, Gibraltar operations manager for Leeds Building Society, commented: "The tracker product is currently only 3.94 per cent, there is no higher lending charge to pay and no early repayment charges, so the customer has complete control of their mortgage."

"The feedback we have had so far is that this is an excellent product combined with a fast and efficient service and I am confident this product will continue to be very popular," she added.

Leeds Building Society has a range of fixed rate mortgage offers as well as insurance and credit card products.
