Natwest mobile banking launched in Wales

This follows a similar move in Cornwall by the bank that was deemed a success. NatWest wishes to provide remote and deprived areas with the option of face-to-face banking.
The launch of NatWest mobile banking was hailed by the secretary of state for Wales, Peter Hain, who said that older people and those on low incomes would benefit most from the scheme.
NatWest marketing director Helen Page relayed: "There continues to be a need for greater access in remote and deprived areas and we are committed to improving services for people in these communities. The new mobile bank in South Wales will complement our strong traditional branch network in the area."
Mobile banking will be available in Wales from October 30th and similarly to the NatWest Cornish mobile banking, it will be accessible every weekday.
The mobile banking service in Wales is set to be fully user-friendly for disabled customers, offering a lift for wheelchairs and an audio induction loop for those with hearing aids.
