Norwich Union Fleetwise Care is launched

A new single package insurance product has been introduced by Norwich Union designed to offer fleet managers greater risk management opportunities.

The Norwich Union Fleetwise Care product will provide fleet managers with the ability to get hold of duty of care reports which provide comprehensive driver information.

Telematic devices are used, free of charge, so that data reaches Norwich Union via satellite and enables the company to compile the reports that detail information such as mileage covered and journey times.

Director of trading at Norwich Union Mark Hynes explained: "Regardless of how well fleet managers think they know their drivers, they can't be everywhere at once. And with almost a third of UK road deaths involving company car drivers, they clearly need to know what their drivers are doing behind the wheel."

Also available with Norwich Union Fleetwise Care is the access to risk management advice from a team of risk advisors whose aim is to reduce the possibility of problems occurring within a company.

Norwich Union is part of the Aviva group which is the sixth largest insurance group in the world and the UK's largest.
