Invesco launches investment training website

The aim of the website is to provide intermediaries with the latest information, both generic and specific, relating to investments via web cast technology on the website.
Investment Intelligence Online offers a range of benefits to intermediaries including sections providing advice on technical investment, market and funds commentary and business value, as well as update alerts for breaking news.
Marketing director at Invesco Perpetual Rick White remarked: "Fund managers have a responsibility to the consumer which is best dealt with by educating the advisor, ensuring they fully understand the investment products they are recommending."
Mr White went on to highlight the role of the Invesco Perpetual Investment Intelligence Online website in allowing financial advisors to make "timely, informed decisions".
Additionally, Mr White stated that the website will enable advisors to save time as attendance at training schemes could be replaced by visiting the site from the "comfort of [the advisor's] office".
Invesco Perpetual is an independent investment manager who manages the assets of consumers, intermediaries and professional investors.
