Lloyds TSB online banking 'revolutionised'

Lloyds TSB has revolutionised its online banking facilities by adding a new bill manager feature, allowing customers to view, pay and store their household bills online.

Over the last few years, increasing numbers of consumers have turned to the internet as a way to pay their bills quickly and easily without having to send cheques through the post. Lloyds TSB has now decided to take things one step further, making life even easier for its customers.

The new Lloyds TSB online banking service lets customers keep a record of all of their bills in one convenient place so they do not have to collect paper statements and receipts.

It also removes the need for customers to deal separately with individual companies when paying their bills, as they can simply log into the bill manager service and pay all of their bills via Lloyds TSB.

They will even receive email alerts when bills are due to be paid, making it much less likely that deadlines will be missed.

Anita Hockin, head of internet at Lloyds TSB, said: "A deluge of paper bills can be confusing and off putting for anyone, and even the most financially savvy consumer can easily lose track of their finances when there is so much to keep an eye on.

"This service means that with one log on, customers can view all of their bills in one place – it couldn't be easier."

The new bill manager service will be available free of charge to any customers registered with Lloyds TSB online banking.
