The insurance provider is offering the European cover for both individuals and families at a special discounted rate and the policy could help to insure against a number of situations or events.
American Express travel insurance can protect against the top three major reasons for claiming – medical, holiday cancellation and lost luggage.
In addition, the travel insurance will also offer £1 million personal liability cover as well as protection for lost money and cover the cost of any travel delays up to £100. Medical emergency and repatriation costs of up to £2 million are also standard with American Express travel insurance cover.
Policies start at £39 per adult and £69 per four person family and are available with a 20 per cent reduction until February 28th 2007.
