More Than travel insurance launched

The demand for activity holidays involving winter sports like skiing and snowboarding is growing, with one in eight Britons wanting to take such a trip, according to More Than research – increasing the need for adequate insurance.
It was also found that 12 per cent of Britons do not have any travel insurance, leaving themselves open to incurring large medical costs or bills for lost luggage for instance.
Keira Clark, head of travel insurance at More Than, said: "As a nation, we're going on more adventurous and more risky winter holidays now than ever before. But our statistics show that despite this, one in eight holiday makers are still not taking out any form of travel insurance.
"Cover is absolutely crucial with these types of trips. We have developed a brand new range of cover for travel insurance to make sure people are protected – even those on a tight budget."
The three tiers of More Than travel insurance are economy, standard and premier. Single trip cover prices begin at £8.93, while the annual cover starts at £30.45.
