Saga Overseas Homes introduced

With Spain the most popular destination for Brits moving abroad, Saga Overseas Homes has been launched so that buying a home in the country is made a little easier.

Saga Overseas Homes is designed to offer the full range of services necessary to buy property abroad, such as estate agents, legal advice and other relelvant advice.

It seems that over 50s in the UK are wanting to spend more time abroad after it emerged that a third of this age group plan on purchasing a second home abroad, according to research carried out by Saga.

The property would initially be a holiday home but more than half would later consider moving abroad on a permanent basis.

Andrew Goodsell, chief executive at Saga, said: "Spain has always been a popular choice for those looking to purchase a holiday home.

"Its sunnier climes, relatively lower cost of living, cheaper property prices and its close proximity mean it is the perfect choice for those looking to get away for a few weeks each year."
