Co-operative Insurance arm looking to 'satisfy customers'

Co-operative Insurance yesterday described a new survey as an "important tool" in improving customer satisfaction.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) customer satisfaction survey will enhance the reputation of the insurance industry.

"Co-operative Insurance was one of the first members to sign up to the Customer Impact Scheme and is committed to industry initiatives that support the FSA's principles of treating customers fairly," the group said.

"We take the results seriously and will use these findings to further help us improve the customer experience," they added.

Earlier this week, the group extolled the sense of parents possessing a Co-operative Insurance product, with children's bedrooms on average possessing £1,260 worth of gadgets.

"Many parents simply do not realise just how valuable the contents of their children's rooms are. It is important for people to regularly review the value of their home contents and if necessary increase the level of cover to ensure that it is adequate," said David Neave, director of general insurance at the group.
