Friends Provident fund range extended

Friends Provident International (FPI) has added 19 new mirror fund links to its Isle of Man fund range.

According to Jim Henning, funds research and marketing manager at FPI, the new funds will "significantly bolster" the mirror fund range.

While the new property funds are being launched today, the fixed interest funds are launching on March 26th.

The Friends Provident fund is linked to both direct and property securities, comprising both UK and global funds.

While funds from Invesco and Schroders are of the fixed interest variety, new euro share class options from the existing mirror are now linked to the Barings International Bond and Mellon Global Bond funds.

"The recent volatility witnessed in global equity markets reinforces the need for sensible asset diversification and a combination of high quality property and fixed interest funds is well positioned to deliver this," Mr Henning added.
