NatWest credit card offers opportunity for travel

NatWest is launching a new loyalty scheme for its customers which will allow them to jet off to far-flung destinations.

Replacing the group's relationship with the Airmiles scheme in June, the YourPoints programme will afford customers far greater flexibility.

Collecting points on their NatWest credit cards, the new scheme has been designed to reward people who use their cards regularly and will be free for those spending more than £1,000.

Other customers who join the programme will pay £3 a month for the service, allowing them to choose from a range of flight options.

Customers will spend less on their NatWest credit cards to receive more benefits; with a trip to Paris in April costing £4,300 YourPoints, compared to £8,000 with Airmiles.

Dennis Jones, director of personal cards at RBSG, said: "We're delighted to be able to say that this really is a programme that allows customers to take any seat, any route, any time, anywhere – if that seat's available, it's yours."
