Guarantee 'renewed' on Barclays home insurance

Following on from last year's price guarantee, Barclays has pledged to give customers an even cheaper quote in their second year.
The latest improvement to the group's packages follows popular moves made last year, which saw customers who took on a home insurance package see price drops of up to £100.
Customers who made the decision to switch to Barclays also received £50, a package which has proved to be extremely popular.
Commenting upon the Barclays home insurance packages, Mark Till, marketing director for the group, said: "In only our second year in the market we have managed to once again shake up the home insurance industry, which is great news for consumers.
"After the launch of last year's price guarantee many of our competitors had to copy the offer to keep up and we fully expect the same to happen following the launch of our renewal guarantee this year," he added.
