Enjoy month of free cover with Post Office insurance

Post Office Financial Services is giving consumers the opportunity to enjoy even better value on car, van and home insurance with the launch of a new offer.

From today, all new applicants to the Post Office insurance packages will receive one month's free cover.

With over 500,000 insurance packages having been opened up with the Post Office, marking it out as one of the fastest growing insurance providers, Post Office car insurance is enjoying strong popularity.

Post Office car insurance packages afford a choice of cover, foreign cover for up to 60 days each year, with third party and theft cover also included.

Commenting upon the group's business philosophy, Patrick Waldron, chief executive of Post Office financial services, said: "We believe in offering customers fairer, easier and better insurance."

He added: "Our customers can already save up to 33 per cent on car insurance alone, offered through 14,300 branches, online or over the phone."
