Nationwide mortgage series 'relaunched'

Nationwide has announced that a number of its mortgages will be given various new rates from the start of trading tomorrow.

Two, three, five and ten-year fixed-rate mortgages are all set to be relaunched on Wednesday, with two-year fixed-rate mortgages available from 5.58 per cent, with a £499 fee.

Customers looking for longer term repayment security might consider taking on five and ten-year Nationwide mortgages, which are available at rates of 5.58 per cent, with an arrangement fee of £499.

The group has also relaunched its remortgage and additional borrowing series, with two-year fixed-rate mortgages available from 5.73 per cent.

Matthew Carter, divisional director for mortgages at Nationwide, said: "Nationwide's products remain very competitive for borrowers, whether they are looking for a shorter term deal or a longer term fixed rate."

Existing Nationwide mortgage customers also have the chance to benefit from a £100 discount off their reservation fee when they switch from one product to another.
