SCIL fixed-rate bond launched

Scarborough Channel Islands Limited (SCIL) yesterday launched a limited edition one-year fixed interest bond with a rate of 6.12 per cent.

Those people looking to receive monthly interest on the SCIL bond will be offered a rate of 5.95 per cent.

Once the SCIL bond is set up, no withdrawals or deposits are permitted, with minimum and maximum deposits being between £5,000 and £1 million.

The bond offers the opportunity for consumers to benefit from 100 per cent return of capital, as well as 125 per cent of any growth in the FTSE 100 Index.

Robin Litten, of SCIL, said that since launching the product in April, "we've made clear our intentions to further develop our already successful business by seeking opportunities to enhance our product and service offering for the benefit of both new and existing customers".

Customers wishing to find out more about the fixed-rate Scarborough bond should access the group's website or contact the group directly.
