Glology, set to be launched this summer, will enable advisers to get quotes on various insurance packages, either on or offline.
It will allow advisers to better meet the needs of customers, a process which will hopefully enable consumers to pick up better deals.
Steve Bryan, partner development director for Legal & General's general insurance business, said the new system "will help existing and new advisers, in providing general insurance as part of their existing mortgage advice business".
Legal & General offers a comprehensive range of general insurance products, including home insurance, buildings and contents cover.
Buy-to-let and mortgage payment protection insurance packages are also available as part of the Legal & General insurance range.
