Alliance & Leicester Visa pre-paid card launched

People who run their own business might be interested to learn of a new offering from Alliance & Leicester.

The new Visa pre-paid card will allow employers to provide their employees with travel expenses without having to hand over cash.

As the card is loaded in advance, it also takes the hassle out of filling and processing expense forms retrospectively.

Employees can use the card wherever they see the Visa sign at home or abroad.

James Le Brocq, Director of Pre-Paid Cards at Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, said: "Dealing with expenses for any organisation is fraught with difficulties, especially when part of the work force is temporary or located abroad.

"By introducing pre-paid cards, control of the process is restored, risk is minimised and employees have a better experience."

Visa Europe is an association of 4,500 European banks and financial institutions from 36 countries.
