One free phone call to the fast-track account opening service from their homeland could allow Britain-bound Poles to have an appointment with a branch as soon as they arrive.
The move follows the recent introduction of the Silver Account, which allows new residents in the UK to send money back home via a pre-paid card.
"Getting your finances in order when you move to a new country can be a bit daunting," said Marta Sudoimirska, team leader, at the new Lloyds TSB call centre.
"Being able to start the account opening process before you even leave Poland is fantastic and speaking to somebody in your own language will definitely help to put you at ease."
Yesterday, Lloyds TSB recommended its Travel Money Card to parents whose children might be heading off on holiday this summer.
