Halifax credit card 0% offer

A new Purchase Card is being launched by Halifax with an introductory offer of zero per cent for 15 months.

It also features zero per cent on balance transfers for the first six months, however a fee of three per cent does apply.

Additionally, the new card has a full 59 days of interest free credit and an APR of 14.9 per cent.

Ken Stannard, head of Halifax Credit Cards, said: "As ever, Halifax is offering customers even more with its latest credit card, featuring our longest ever zero per cent deal on purchases.

"For example, savvy shoppers who take the Purchase Card out in October can spread the cost of their purchases and not pay any interest till January 2009."

The new card from Halifax will "transform the market", Mr Stannard went on to claim. The Purchase Card will "take credit card deals to a whole new level".

Meanwhile, figures from Halifax have shown that the rampant house price inflation the UK has seen over the last couple of years is finally slowing.
