Tesco health insurance 'guarantees 20% savings'

Tesco has offered this guarantee for new customers - provided they choose a similar level of cover - until October 16th.
In addition, Tesco has introduced its most comprehensive level of cover, known as Finest Cover, which does not have an annual maximum on in-patient and out-patient treatment.
Jeremy Sutton, head of savings and investments at Tesco Personal Finance, commented: "We have price-checked and found we were cheaper than other providers for eight out of ten people. Customers could save as much as £252 per year with Core Cover and £336 for Premium Cover.
"We are pleased this research proves we can offer genuine savings and urge anyone considering buying this type of cover to shop around."
Tesco launched its health insurance products in January.
