Tesco car breakdown cover offered

The supermarket giant is offering two months' free Tesco Car Breakdown Cover to anyone buying a policy on or before December 11th 2007, covering the car regardless of who is driving it, rather than just the individual.
With no forms to fill in and providing instant roadside cover, the car policies can be purchased from most Tesco stores, Tesco petrol stations, online or by telephone. The company is also offering customers 15 per cent off car insurance policies for motorists in the first year of holding a policy with Tesco.
Allan Burns, Tesco Personal Finance head of insurance, said: "Families up and down the country will be taking to the roads this Christmas and winter driving conditions, as well as over-excited children in the backseat, can be stressful enough without having the worry of the car breaking down."
