Sainsbury's offers 0% card for last minute shoppers

The bank has launched the card to coincide with the last-minute Christmas rush in which millions of consumers are spending heavily as they fill the gaps in their festive shopping lists.
Sainsbury's said £2.14 billion is expected to be spent on Christmas Eve, of which £380.9 million will be on credit cards.
It based the figure on its own research which found that 46 per cent of adults will do at least part of their Christmas shopping on December 24th.
Head of cards at Sainsbury's Donald MacLeod, said: "Our research would indicate that the overall spend in the Christmas Eve rush is going to be considerably up on last year's."
The Christmas and new year period is a popular time for consumers to seek better card deals to help pay off their debts after heavy seasonal spending.
Many card suppliers target this time to offer products with low or zero rates in order to attract new custom.
