Tesco travel insurance gives kids a free ride

Tesco Insurance is offering children free travel insurance when customers buy family policies.

The offer is open to people purchasing family travel insurance policies in-store or online before March 5th 2008.

Prices will be the same as those paid on any standard insurance policy for a couple.

They start at £17 for three days of cover for two adults and up to four children.

Also, if an adult is travelling alone with children, then they only pay a single adult price.
Tesco has released a number of hints and tips to help ease the pain of travelling with children.

It recommends, amongst other things, checking that your airline allows for pre-booking family seats together, giving children a snack during take-off and landing to help ease the pressure on their ears and splitting children's possessions across different cases, to avoid losing a favourite toy.

Last week Tesco announced that it was offering a 30 per cent discount on car breakdown cover.
