Barclaycard teams up with IHG for new card

Barclaycard and the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) have teamed up to launch a new credit card.

Customers will be able to earn rewards with the card which can then be redeemed at IHG hotels.

In addition, to celebrate its launch, cardholders will earn 10,000 bonus points when they first use their card, which will be available online from tonight.

The card comes with a six month interest-free option on all balance transfers and a rate of 16.9 per cent APR.

Elizabeth G Chambers, chief marketing officer at Barclaycard, said: "Our partnership with InterContinental Hotel Group is another example of Barclaycard becoming the partner of choice for organisations who want to offer bespoke credit card products to their customers."

Last month, Barclaycard reported that business travel is continuing to grow.
