Tesco Health Insurance offers cover from £1.50 a day

Using estimates based on a customer living outside of London with an excess of £100 and 35 per cent no claims discount, Tesco has come up with examples of what its Core, Premium and Finest cover would cost customers of various ages.
A 20-year-old purchasing Core cover is likely to pay £14.97 a month, but that rises to £20.38 for someone aged 30 and £45.28 for a customer aged 55.
Finest cover for a 45-year-old would set them back £67.80, while 20-year-olds will pay £32.09, on average.
Tesco suggests that its policies "combine value and simplicity". No medical questions are asked for people under-75 and three levels of cover are offered.
In addition, a 35 per cent no claims discount is available for new customers.
Jeremy Sutton, head of Tesco Health Insurance, said: "Health insurance is about quickly finding out what's wrong with you and then making sure you have it treated promptly."
Last week Tesco released its car map of the UK, which has showed the different types of vehicles popular in each region.
