Tesco: Car insurance cover 'should include child seats'

As part of Tescocompare.com's support of Child Safety Week, the supermarket's price comparison site has spoken about the importance of using booster seats, child seats and seatbelts, explaining that such safety measures should be supported by motor insurers.
It revealed: "Insurers who provide child seat coverage seem to have similar policies - if a car is involved in a accident, damaged by fire or theft or stolen and not recovered, the child seat will be replaced or a contribution made towards a new purchase."
Child Safety Week is held on June 23rd to 29th by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, in order to highlight ways in which accidents among young people can be avoided through extended media coverage.
