Unbiased launches 'Find an IFA'

Independent financial advice promoter Unbiased.co.uk has launched a new service targeted at corporate pension scheme partners, it has been revealed.

Entitled Find an IFA, the initiative enables pension scheme members to select an advisor best suited to their requirements.

A confidential arrangement, details are not passed on to any organisations. Therefore, no 'cold calls' will be received and it is up to the scheme member to make the first contact.

Using the free service, people will be able to search through to 17,000 registered advisors at 9,000 different firms on the Unbiased.co.uk website.

"The search is the most hygienic available - this is why it can be found on over 60 consumer websites - including such high profile sites and portals as Yahoo, the Times, Telegraph, Guardian, This is Money, AOL and MSN," stated David Elms, chief executive of Unbiased.co.uk.

According to figures produced by the organisation earlier this month, 70 per cent of UK consumers have taken some form of advice when it comes to arranging their finances, with 33 per cent having used an IFA.ADNFCR-323-ID-18659802-ADNFCR
