Skipton Building Society offers holiday savings bonus

A £25 bursary of free travel money is to be offered to all customers who set up a Special Saver Account over the course of September and deposit £150 per month.
The firm is hoping to ease the burden on holidaymakers with the initiative, citing research from travel agent Thomas Cook which recently found that the cost of a holiday is to rise next summer.
It added that higher fuel costs as well as the weakness of the pound are also contributing to greater vacation prices.
Skipton Building Society is the sixth-largest mutual lending and savings group in Britain.
It was first established in 1853 and has a net income of £148 million.
