According to the insurer, claims increase by 240 per cent on November 5th.

Tesco warned homeowners to lock up the fronts of their houses and to check that their insurance is up to date.
Jim Bruce, head of home insurance, added that celebrants should be sure to follow the fireworks code.
This involves measures such as keeping fireworks in a sealed box or tin, using them one at a time, never reading the instructions by the light of a naked flame and lighting them at arm's length with a taper or firework lighter.
Tesco recently offered three months of free insurance to customers buying its car insurance online.
Clubcard holders could get up to the maximum discount, while those without a car could still get a reduction equivalent to two months of free cover.
