Tesco: Children's health Insurance less expensive

The insurer said that new policies purchased before January 8th will be subject to a 25 per cent reduction in premiums for the first year.
According to Tesco, the changes mean that its child protection plan now costs £7.49 per month for one child plus £6.49 for any additional children added to the policy, rather than the £9.99 and £8.99 it cost previously.
Tesco Personal Finance said: "With the Tesco Child Healthcare plan you have greater choice of when to see a specialist following a referral from your GP, potentially providing quicker access to diagnostic tests."
The policy covers tests ordered by specialists, though not accident and emergency treatment.
Recently, a survey by Prudential revealed that many Brits think they are healthier than they actually are.
