The child trust fund provider has published data which reveals that those with festive names, including Rudolf and Nicholas - like Father Christmas himself - get more money paid into their trust funds as Christmas presents.
Children named Gabriel receive an average of £162 - almost twice the normal amount.
Unfortunately for children named Ebenezer, the trend seems to work the other way - those who share a name with Scrooge receive a miserly £5 on average.
Tony Anderson, marketing director at The Children's Mutual, said: "Whether your child is named Noel or Noelle, we are urging families with younger children to think about giving a gift that lasts long after the Christmas lights have been switched off."
Recent research by Family Investments found that more than half of parents would prefer grandparents to make contributions to their children's trust funds instead of giving presents.
