Amy Winehouse 'would be worst celebrity tenant'

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been voted the worst celebrity tenant according to research released recently by Halifax.

The bank's landlord insurance division asked 1,000 property owners in the UK which celebrities they would most like to have renting their properties and found that Amy Winehouse came bottom of the list, closely follwed by Kerry Katona.

Halifax Landlord Insurance found that the former X-Factor winner Leona Lewis, who scored a number one hit with her song Bleeding Love, also came top of the desirable tenant charts.

She was followed by US president-elect Barack Obama in second and the latest man to play superspy 007, Daniel Craig, in third place.

Halifax's landlord insurance is aimed at small-scale residential landlords, including those with buy-to-let mortgages.

The insurer recently made headlines as its parent company, HBOS, was bought out by Lloyds TSB to create the UK's largest banking group.
