AXA health insurance boosts CAPT

AXA has announced that its health insurance policy for children will work with the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) in an effort to reduce the number of accidents affecting children.

The health insurance provider announced its partnership with the charity after CAPT figures revealed that accidents put more children in hospital in the UK than any other cause.

Paul O'Grady, AXA healthcare marketing manager, explained that AXA is "helping the trust to continue its work in providing parents and carers with expert, practical information to prevent accidents to children."

He added: "We are promoting the trust's work to our customers through our membership communications."

Katrina Phillips, chief executive of CAPT, said that the charity is "delighted" to be working with AXA Healthcare.

Recently, research conducted by LV= revealed that many Brits are considering cutting back on the amount they spend on insurance in order to save money during the credit crunch.
