Aviva creates Broker Independence Group

Independent brokers now have the opportunity to take advantage of the new Aviva Broker Independence Group.

The group has been established for all local independent brokers with Norwich Union accounts of less than £800,000 premium.

These independent brokers will be offered a new profit share reward which promotes profitable growth and a wider range of products.

Also available will be access to a range of specialist schemes and tailor-made compliance and legal support, some aspects of which will be free of charge.

John Kennedy, director of business development at the firm, said: "We recognise being local and independent does not mean your needs are any less important than any other player in the market - simply that those needs may be different."

Meanwhile, Norwich Union has recently warned landlords to be aware of tenants who may be growing cannabis in their properties.
