LV= claims ISA deadline should not be missed

LV= has urged investors not to miss out on the deadline for earning tax-free interest on their individual savings accounts (ISAs) this year.

According to a survey conducted by the financial services provider, 33 per cent of Brits expect to look back on the present as an excellent time to invest, but far fewer are planning to do anything about it.

The poll found that 60 per cent of investors have no immediate plans to review their investment portfolios, despite the current low prices of many shares and the impending ISA deadline on April 5th.

Robin Willison, financial advice director at LV=, said: "We want to remind investors who have not used this year's ISA allowance that they will lose it forever if they don't invest before the deadline."

LV=, which was founded as Liverpool Victoria in 1843, currently serves around 3.6 million customers and manages about £7 billion on their behalf.
