Egg Credit Card withdrawal fee increased

The price comparison site claims that Egg credit card customers will now be charged £5 for every withdrawal they make, rather than the £3 it cost them previously.
Research by uSwitch.com revealed that around 7.3 million credit card customers withdraw cash every year, which would now cost them £25 annually if they had an Egg credit card.
Louise Bond, personal finance manager at uSwitch.com, said: "We strongly advise customers not to use this facility on any credit card unless they are really desperate for the cash."
Last year, Egg was fined by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for using misleading sales tactics when selling insurance with its credit cards.
An FSA investigation revealed that in some cases, Egg salespeople had included payments protection insurance with credit cards even when customers asked them not to.
