Tesco home insurance discount offered

The supermarket bank said that it will give new customers who buy home insurance online a 45 per cent discount on its Value, Standard or Finest insurance policies.
In a statement, Tesco said that the offer will be made available for a limited amount of time only and will last until May 27th .
Jim Bruce, head of Tesco Home Insurance, said: "We are aware of the strain on people's finances at the moment. This offer could help reduce one of the necessary living costs.
"Customers can trust us to provide them with cover to suit their needs, protecting them against unforeseen events."
Tesco started out as a market stall manned by Jack Cohen in 1919, but has since grown into the largest retailer in the UK. Earlier this year, the company revealed that its sales figures had topped £1 billion per week for the first time.
