Moneywise reveals shortlist for Customer Service Awards 2009

Moneywise has unveiled its second shortlist of firms which it has nominated for its prestigious best customer service award as part of its Customer Service Awards 2009.

The publication's awards have nominated financial institutions following around 10,000 responses from consumers. In the category of best online current account service are Halifax, First Direct and Lloyds TSB, while nominees for the best current account branches award include Barclays, Nationwide and Natwest.

Up for the accolade of best mortgage overall are Alliance & Leicester, HSBC, Woolwich and Cheltenham & Gloucester, while LV=, Saga and Direct Line will battle it out for the gong of best home insurance provider.

The proud winners of these awards will be announced on June 25th at a gala black-tie dinner at London's Brewery Chiswell Street.

Moneywise launched in 1991 and is dedicated to reporting on all areas of personal finance.
