Young person's debt campaign launched by CAB

The Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) has launched a new campaign aimed at raising awareness around the financial problems experienced by Britain's younger generations.

Films made by the organisation featuring two 22-year-olds from Stoke-on-Trent, Scooby and Adila, are available to view online and tell the stories of those whose debts got out of hand and how the CAB helped them to solve this.

Devised alongside youth agency Bold Creative, the films tell the stories using both film and animation sequences in a bid to encourage other youths to use its services.

"It was such a relief to talk to the adviser at my local CAB. They are there for everyone regardless of age or how big your issue," said Adila.

The CAB provides advice across a range of issues, including financial, legal and business-related and claims to be a confidential, free and impartial service.
