Kwik Fit Insurance wins award for recruitment

Kwik Fit Insurance, which is based in Lanarkshire, has been recognised for its recruitment efforts with the accolade of best practice in recruitment.

The firm scooped the prize at the recent Scottish Recruitment Awards 2009, which were held at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow.

It best the likes of mobile phone giant O2, which was also shortlisted for the award, as the panel praised Kwik Fit Insurance for the level of flexibility it offers its new and existing employees.

"We have some fantastic facilities and benefits on offer and staff are given a wide variety of opportunities to develop their career with us," said Brendan Devine, managing director of the firm.

Kwik Fit Insurance was founded in 1971 by Sir Tom Farmer and has grown to become one of the world's largest companies specialising in automobile repair and replacement parts.
